This week, however, we had many new faces and several "yellow" dogs. With so many different personalities, we did a quick line up order to get us going.
We knew that our members would still find their order, but we want to make sure that all our pooches are set up for success - and that our human members don't get defeated before they get started! We may not do this every week, but we definitely found it helpful!
How do you set your pooches up for success?
I see Wrigley!!!!! YAY!
ReplyDeleteYou can't miss that TONGUE!!
DeleteVery cool idea! :)

It was definitely something different for us, but it worked. During the walk we rearranged a bit and found our natural order, but it was definitely beneficial for the group we had on Sunday. Hope you're feeling better!
DeleteLuigi needs his space to be successful. Our first week we were at the back of the line where we could slow down to create more space. However, he pulled horribly. We thought we would try the front of the line this week and stay way out in front. Some may wonder what Luigi was gaining if he was so far removed from the group, but believe me he knew he was being followed. On breaks we tried to stay on the fringe so he wasn't totally overwhelmed. He is a work in progress, but I have no doubt that in time he will relax and be more comfortable with the rest of the pack!
ReplyDeleteLisa - I wanted to tell you how well I thought Luigi did this week!! I think the front is a good place for him. Even staying on the fringe is challenging for some dogs like your Luigi and our Edi. I'm so excited to see him improve!
DeleteWhenever I read about your successful walks I imagine Melvin and Jake joining and all hell breaking loose! We shall continue to cheer you on from far away!
ReplyDeleteNot a chance!!
DeleteWe're in the process of forming a pack walk right here as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome!! If we can be of any help, let us know!
